I love Costco. You will find no better place for prescription meds and eyeglasses. I am a single retiree and I still go at least once a month. No better place for paper products and good coffee.

I used to believe in Goodwill's mission statement. They had given me good opportunities, however my last experience working for them ended in disaster. I worked as a cashier at the Milham location. Everyone I worked with at the store level was wonderful, save for Lauren. That being said, Upper management from the district manager to the Ceo does not care about the people that keep their stores functioning. They treat their cashiers abysmally. There is no such thing as competitive wage. There are no protections for their cashiers. Working during pandemic was a nightmare. We could not enforce the mask mandate. They refused to put up plexiglass and used their cashiers as marketing for their cheap and poorly made face shields. Profit was made paramount and customer service took a complete dump. I was recieving complaints from customers about Goodwill as a company and the Ceo, Mr. Dilworth, weekly. I ended up with severe and crippling anxiety over going to work and ended up losing my job as a result. If this company could return to their founding values of helping the community and providing fair employment opportunities and a living wage to those who might not be able to find those things, then I would be happy to work for them again.
