I can't recommend this company enough! They went above and beyond, demonstrating genuine kindness and dedication to their work. I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amanda, Katie, LaTisha, and David for their compassionate care towards my grandfather. Your commitment to bringing your hearts to work every day made a significant difference. I am deeply grateful for your presence in his life! Jan 28th, 2024

We had a horrible experience with this company. We brought my father home on hospice on Thursday and he passed on Saturday. Those 3 days were nothing but stress and fear. They talked the experience up in the hospital but then were never available. Nurses came hours after we were told they would be there and several calls to the 24/7 support were not helpful. Dont believe them when they say you will get to be the wife and not have to worry about being the nurse because thats not true. Its basically a telephone service with maybe 20 min a day of a nurse and every single visit was a different nurse. Aug 15th, 2023

How in the world does a nurse show up fully well KNOWING she needs to take labs yet she doesn't have the equipment to even to draw blood? TWICE! now my father is declining because this pos health care service is failing him! My father has been getting worse and worse yet the team that's been seeing him HASN'T REACHED OUT TO THE DOCTOR A SINGLE TIME! the team NEVER shows up when they promise to and when they do they have been USELESS AND NEGLECTFUL. My dad needed I'm home care for the last 2 months almost and has received NOTHING positive from this company I would highly highly suggest looking into other care of your loved one is in need it may be a choice between life and death honestly Mar 26th, 2023

This was a horrible and traumatic experience with this company. They said "we are doing God's work, we will be by your side, we are the caregiver so you can be the wife". Everything that a grieving family wants to hear but far from reality or the truth. When we brought my husband home on a Thursday, no nurse showed up for another 3 hours but they said it was the hospital's fault even though they told me to call when we left the hospital which I did. They should have said they were a telephone service because that's what you do is call and call to talk to the service for help until someone shows up anywhere from 3-6 hours later. On Friday I was told by the morning nurse they would start sending a 2nd nurse because he was transitioning. The Chaplain called that day also and asked when I would like him to come. I asked if he could come that night because my husband had already transitioned. He told me he was thinking of next week but call him if anything happens and he will come.. I thought to myself yeah like 3-5 hours too late like everyone else in this company, He did say a prayer over the phone because of course all you get is phone service with this company. The 2nd nurse finally came many hours late in the evening after numerous calls to the telephone service again because of his condition. The next day on Saturday my husband passed away about midday, The "morning nurse" finally got there to pronounce his death at 1:54 pm. Before she left, she said a grief counselor would reach out to me the next week. After over 3 weeks passed, still no calls, my son reached out to complain, Guess what, today I get a call 26 days later. I would like to talk to someone but can I even trust this company to do grief counseling right. Sep 9th, 2023

Our experience with Elara Caring has been mixed. The Speech Pathologist and Physical Therapist that have come out to provide in home care for my husband have been amazing. They have helped him improve after a stroke so much. I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Rachel. However, the scheduling for evaluations every time we have to get recertified with insurance is maddening. The person who is supposed to do the PT evals never comes when he is supposed to or doesn't schedule someone else to come in his place. There is no communication, and I end up calling repeatedly every time. This also leaves us in fear we will no longer have services about every 3 weeks. Thankfully the main care provided is 5 star, but the other experiences are much much less. Jan 30th, 2022

I'm very sorry to read about this experience, Brenda. This is not the standard of care we aim to provide patients and families. Can I connect you with a manager to discuss your comments and possibly connect you directly with our bereavement coordinator? If so, please reach out to [email protected].
