Wingstop

Tried Wingstop today for the first time. No issue with the employees or service; they did a great job given how many orders they had to make. The food itself just wasn't that good. Normally I go for bone-in wings but they had an online special on the boneless. We got the boneless "wings" in many different flavors to try almost all of them, and I didn't really like any of the sauces/flavors we tried. The smaller pieces of the boneless wings were decent, but the big pieces are not good at all. They have a gross spongy texture like a glorified chicken nugget. Almost all of the flavors we ordered were soggy by the time I got home. The best-tasting sauces were the Mango Habanero and Korean BBQ. Louisiana dry rub was decent too (because the wings stayed crispy) but it's really just plain old Cajun seasoning. None of the sauces tasted like anything special. The fries were okay; they were also soggy by the time I got home (less than a 15 minute drive). They have a slightly sweet seasoning that I'm not crazy about but I do like the fact that they're skin-on. Not sure if I would come back, to be honest. I might give them one more shot with some classic wings instead of boneless.

Wait until the hype dies downAs everyone else has said, it would be nice to update you app order times. Ordered with a 38-45 min wait. Show up at the 45min mark to wait over an hour 15 min for our food. I get it, new spot, tons of orders but let me know itll be 2hrs instead of making me wait at the store the entire time. People that ordered in person, after I arrived had their food before I did. I have no problem with a long pickup time, I do have a problem with waiting in the store for an hour+ after it was supposedly going to be ready. Plus side, they got our order right.
