        One of those places you can go back to time and again and discover something new or just do the same thing you do every time - and love it. It's easy to get to, easy to park and just get out and start walking. The one covered shelter has a FIREplace which is amazing! Dogs are allowed on leash, we bring ours with us every time! Also, the ranger is super helpful, one time I locked my keys in the car and he helped me out! Overall, I will be going back over and over! I can't wait to do a dark sky night!

        Love This park. But why can't you be there after dark with a telescope??? I am confused since it's a dark sky park. I understand once a year they allow camping but that doesn't seem to be taking full advantage of a park. That would be perfect. So many other times out of the year. If somebody could respond to this message that would be great
