Dealing with Heather has been the worst experience I have ever had with a photographer.
I booked her in the hopes of capturing some great family memories. This was the first week of October. The real headache began, however, trying to get the photos. After the photo session, Heather said it would be four weeks. This seemed long, but I didnt belabor it. After three and a half weeks, I followed up with Heather to see if she was on schedule. At that point, I received a myriad of excuses to justify why it was taking so long. It seemed like there was an excuse for everything. After five weeks, we finally received the digital photos. Looking through them, there doesnt appear to be any good reason why it took so long. An unnatural, oversaturated filter was ham-fistedly applied to every photo which washed out our faces and changed our hair colors.
Nevertheless, as part of the contract we were due a photo album so we chose what photos we could that looked the most natural and provided those to Heather to have the album made. These choices were provided to Heather on November 6th. She never acknowledge my email, so two weeks later I reached out once again. Finally, on November 30th (two months after the photo session) Heather indicated that the album had been printed, but was shipped to her house. For the life of me, I cannot fathom why she did not have it ship to my house instead. Rather, her suggestion was that I drive an hour to meet her to receive the book in lieu of her just shipping the book to me.
It has now been over two and a half months and I still do not have the album nor a commitment from Heather on her plan to get it to me.

Needed some updated photos for work, plus everyone seems to be using them on zoom and social media sites. Getting lots of great comments. Thanks Heather.

Heather is very talented. She is creative with the shots she takes. She takes time to get the best shots possible and never made me feel rushed. I had requested a very unique photo shoot and she was able to provide me with exactly what I envisioned. Her personality makes it easy to relax and really get into your shoot. She is a gem. I highly recommend her.
