Holiday Inn Jackson NW - Airport Road, an IHG Hotel

My husband and I had an amazing experience. Liz was the mgr on duty she was very friendly and person able. She made us both feel very welcome. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site. I recommend the salmon it had a citrus sauce that was delicious . Our waitress name was Sheree she provided outstanding customer service she went up& beyond her job duties. To ensure we had a pleasant experience. We definitely will return again to this location when we visit in the Jackson area! Keep up the great work!!!!

I like the rooms, very cozy and I love that it's close to Meijers and restaurants. I was a bit disappointed with the service for a number of things. I called and ordered a room that would be pet friendly.... Only to get there and be told it wasn't with no easy room transfer. The morning breakfast was equally disappointing, not only was it not part of my stay (despite being $100+ for 1 night and two queen beds) but I was nagged endlessly about rules. Wasn't allowed to take it back to room. My kids were over the age limit apparently and had to pay more.... None of this was listed on the website when I made my purchase.... I was going through a family crisis and it was just a real frustration to deal with.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was significantly marred by the appalling behavior of the front desk clerk. As a traveler who values courteous service and professionalism, I was shocked and deeply disappointed by the disrespectful treatment I received. Upon arriving at the hotel, I approached the front desk with a genuine expectation of receiving a warm welcome and efficient check-in process. However, instead of being greeted with a smile and helpful demeanor, I was met with blatant rudeness from the front desk clerk. Not only did they fail to acknowledge my presence promptly, but their tone was condescending and dismissive. Throughout the check-in process, it became increasingly evident that the front desk clerk had no interest in providing quality customer service. They appeared impatient and unwilling to address my inquiries or concerns, displaying an attitude that bordered on outright hostility. Moreover, their lack of professionalism was evident in the way they handled my reservation, displaying incompetence that further exacerbated the situation. As someone who values mutual respect and basic courtesy, I found the front desk clerk's behavior to be unacceptable and deeply disappointing. It is disheartening to encounter such blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, especially in an industry where hospitality and service should be paramount. In conclusion, my experience with the front desk clerk was nothing short of unpleasant. Her rude and disrespectful attitude marred what could have been an otherwise enjoyable stay. I sincerely hope that management takes appropriate action to address such behavior and ensures that future guests are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to others. Food & drinks: great
