Consumers energy is so disorganized on the way they do things they need to put somebody else fire everybody hire all new people that know what the hell they're doing because if they turn the power on today by 3 at my dad's house there's going to be a fire and explosion on the process

They MADE us switch to you guys, now my power bill is twice as high as it's ever been. I used $53 in electricity and have a $31 "distribution" charge plus all the other bs charges. If there were another choice in Jackson I'd be all over it. MONOPOLY!!!

They don't maintain their lines, this is I believe the 3rd time stuff in our woods has caught fire because of branches in the lines. Their customer service is terrible and if we had any other option we would take it. I only wish I could give them zero stars. Update: 8/18/21 now after that big storm we're on day 7 with no power. I understand that was a huge storm, but if they had replaced the rotten power pole in my front yard years ago the box wouldn't have been ripped off my house when the rotted pole snapped. I found an electrician to fix the box, and now consumers says we need permits and an inspection. For something that already exists but needs to be fixed, the electrician said he had never heard of such a thing. So in the meantime, I have no electricity or running water. FOR 7 DAYS!!!
