The staff here is kind and welcoming, and very willing to help once you get through to someone. Every experience I had with someone on the phone was great - however I had a 3 month lease for a short internship during summer in Jackson and experienced all of the following: - A significant water leak that was never attended to, it did stop leaking but left quite a bit of water damage to the ceiling of the bathroom. - No hot water for the final week of my lease due to, get this, a homeless man living in the water heater room who was repeatedly shutting off the breaker. Managements response was that they were trying to put a lock on the door to make him go away. - The hallways REEK of weed 24/7 - Management doesnt pick up the phones, ever. I only chose to lease here because I could get a 2B2B for $1,000/mo. It took well over 20 phone calls because they kept loosing my information and were recording it incorrectly on their apartment portal. - You have to pay rent at a grocery store otherwise face a $30+ CC fee if you do it online. This is just stupid. - The single Washer and dryer for my entire building didnt work. - They charge a $100 move in fee per person for cleaning but clearly didnt clean the apartment at all. I found a whole bunch of homemade alcohol in the kitchen cabinets, the rest of the kitchen cabinets were completely filthy, ceiling fan was nasty. Bathroom was okay. - Black mold in the bathroom, pretty sure they caulked over it instead of using bleach like you are supposed to when I reported it. - Domestic disturbance call for someone living above us, five or six cop cars showed up and interviewed people in the hallway outside my door for a few hours. - "Service Fees" applied each month at varying amounts between 5 and 10 dollars to my account, no other explanation. ??? And lastly, the most painful: - They tried charging me for $400 in carpet damages and $75 in faucet damages after I moved out. I had video proof the faucet had existing damage at move in. The photos provided for carpet damage were laughable, it was a blurry photo of an empty space of carpet, no stains, no discoloration, nothing. It took several calls to the property manager to get the sink charge removed only because I had the foresight to take a photo of it at move in. The carpet damage was eventually removed after I requested proof from the "cleaning company" they used, and they just dropped the charge without anymore pushing. Im guessing they hope people just pay whatever fees are on their move out ledger and dont ask questions. TAKE PHOTOS of everything when you move IN and OUT. Otherwise they WILL take your money!

Backed up Kitchen Sink for 5 days now Was reported many times to The office and they Are Doing NOTHING to Fix the problem and are Disrespecting a Disabled person in a State of Decline and this is how they Treat The Disabled!!! Update: The Finally Called a Plumber to Snake the Drain. On the 8th of Aug. It was Backing up since Aug 01, So 8 days later! Maybe they can't get a Plumber on the weekend? Who knows! At least it's working For Now... The Plumber said it was Clogged with Grease... So They should tell the Residents upstairs Not to Put Any Grease from Now on Down the Drain. Or this will Happen Over and Over.... All other residents should be Notified NO Grease down the Sinks,,, That would be a BIG Help to Prevent this in the Future! Thanks!
