Recently purchased a tractor from Ellens. Worked with Derek and Adam. I was treated great and everything was nice and transparent! What a smooth transaction! Thank you! I also must add, I had 3 interactions with Ellens employees for my purchase, the last person of contact being the man that delivered my tractor, this person being matt w. He gave me a quick rundown of the features and operation of the tractor. Also Very punctual, professional and kind. Thanks again!

Ask them to come out and take the DeRate off my tractor. Which only should have taken a few mins. Instead he spent 2 hours testing for problems that he didn't need to do and was not asked to do. I knew what was wrong with the tractor. And I told the service manager that. All I needed was to take the tractor out of DeRate nothing more. Was quoted a cost of 280 dollars which I thought was to much for a 5 min job. In stead the bill is 600 dollars. Would be nice if people would just listen to what you want. And not doing extra to up charge you. Update. Lack of communication if the tech would have called me the first day when he was coming out it would have saved alot of time. I was expecting he's call that morning so I could meet him at the tractor. I knew what was wrong with the tractor and already drained and refilled the def tank. So no I don't need a sensor and I didn't need diagnostics. If that is your policy than that should have been stated from the start. I was very clear the all I need was the tractor taken out of DeRate. That is why I wanted to know the price before they came out. And you even say that I was not looking to spend 400 dollars so how would 600 be alright? Maybe 300 would have been alright. I did return the service manager call talk to someone said he was on the phone and they didn't know why he had called. And by the way I have ran the tractor over 60 hours since and have not had any problems. So to folks that stop and read this if your new Holland tractor derates it will be cheaper to buy the cord laptop and software free form new Holland than to call the dealership. House Bill 4673otherwise known as the Michigan Agricultural Equipment Repair Actwould require all agricultural equipment manufacturers in Michigan to provide tools and parts at a fair price, as well as offer diagnostic information to farmers and independent repair shops. Update 12/26/2023 I have talked with the owner twice about this issue. I told him both times that I would pay 300 dollars. Now he treating to send it to collections. I just got the invoice two days ago. I have no choice but to file complaint with the government.

I was looking to buy a tractor, and Derek spent a lot of time with me to explain each type. He was eager to go walking around the lot to look at the tractors with me. After buying the used tractor, the company went over the top to make everything right before delivering it to me! I couldn't be more pleased with the 5 Star Service!
