If you can help it I would strongly recommend against being seen here for non-emergency purposes. This is my experience after moving to the area with a preexisting condition I had been managing for years. The Good: Clean Convenient The Bad: It is impossible to speak with anyone at the clinic and instead you have to leave messages with an outsourced answering service for all of aspirus. They insist on using their online web portal which the providers don't properly implement. The doctors they have on staff are content with stagnation and following a flow chart to perform examinations and diagnosis. You go see doctors in the middle of nowhere and you get middle of nowhere where service with lackadaisical attitudes and zero compassion. As a result of the isolation, the doctors here have little to no real experience or competition and will default to blood test and then prescription rather than getting to the bottom of what is wrong with you. The prices are astronomical, double and even triple the prices from when I lived in a major city. The nursing staff do not communicate and it resulted in a large error that resulted in insurance denying a claim because they filled out the application wrong. They frequently send the bill to the wrong address. After every visit I get a notice from my insurance that says they sent the claim to the wrong place. There are nearly zero specialists on staff so any referral will be two hours away. The doctor I worked with (cannot name people in Google reviews) was clearly there for a paycheck and has no passion for helping people. All of the above contributes to an overall inept and ineffective health management experience. Avoid establishing care here at all costs if you can!

This is the first time Ive been back to Aspirus in a few years. I wont go into those details because that will be a very long and brutal review. On Friday Sept 15 2023. I went in to be checked out as I hadnt been feeling well for a couple days. The people in the clinic were amazing. The nurse kept us laughing and was very professional . The PA that checked me out was informative, professional and awesome bedside manner. I was then sent over to the ER for blood work and a Chest X-ray. The receptionist in the ER were less than professional. Kept having a conversation while trying to check me in. I wanted to knock on the glass and say hello Im standing here. But I didnt want to be thrown out. My blood work and X-ray went very fast and the people were efficient professional and kind. I myself was very satisfied with my care minus the rude and gabby receptionist. The main reason I feel the need to vent/review is this. As I and my mother in law sat in the waiting room at the ER. A gentlemen came in looking for some serious help. We had to be witness to the horrid help he got. Not only was his whole life and issues revealed to us and any one else listening. The receptionist was just plain stupid. This man was a Vet with a mental illness and she kept asking him ridiculous questions. He wanted to be admitted, he was in fear for his safety, feeling down and unable to handle things. She just kept asking him why are you here and you want us to admit you. I wanted to walk up to that window and scream are you kidding me get this man some help now you idiot!!! But I just watched. I went in had my X-ray and he was still waiting at the window. WTH!! Maybe there is a protocol for something like this. But dont tell me it takes that long to make a determination to get this man help. Please get these receptionist help or ones who know what the heck they are doing. Theres gotta be a better way to help those in need when it comes to these kind of situations. Step up for our Vets please!!
