        If I could give Essential Property Management zero stars, I would. They managed Beach Club Detroit until the first week of February 2023, when the property assumed new management. This was after a week of the property having ZERO hot water for the residents during the coldest week of the winter. The communication during the incident was appalling and then many of the residents had inadequate heat, rendering the apartments "UNINHABITABLE" based on the criteria of the city. The transfer of power happened conveniently to not reimburse or credit rent to ANY of the residents due to their gross negligence. I would think more than twice before renting at ANY of their properties based on my experience.

        Love my building (Morrell Apartments), love the street, love the area. Property is well managed and the manager is super personable and treats you like a human!

        Been staying with the same property manager for 3 years and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon. Any problems i encounter are always fixed immediately and the building is well maintained. Never any issues and lovely area.
