Riverside Canoe Trips

We had a great time tubing, but the check-in process leading up to it felt disorganized and a bit chaotic. There is a lot of waiting in lines to check in at multiple desks in a way that feels like it could be streamlined. We had a lot of instructions thrown at us in regard to parking and dropping off the equipment, but then felt unprepared for the actual tubing aspect—we had a larger group and could have used advice on the best way to tie our tubes together and keep them moving (we didn’t know to ask until we were already in the water). Once we got past all that, it was beautiful!

Friendly staff willing to answer any questions you may have with a variety of options for tubing, canoeing and kayaking. If I did it again I would definitely get a canoe or kayak for one of us to help pull us along as the river was slow due to high water. Definitely make sure you wear your sunscreen, sun glasses and a hat!

I am so disappointed. I used to come here all the time, my family is local to the area, knows many employees, and have enjoyed the river in the past. However, this summer was different I overheard the owners or current managers fat shaming some people. It was horrible. People should be able to enjoy the river, and the nature this area has to offer without being mocked for how they look. I am extremely disappointed and will not be back. The river is nice, but I cannot and Will Not support people who say someone is "so fat" that they are "unrecognizable" among other things. I hope whoever reads this also holds the people at riverside accountable.

We had an amazing experience with our family, but beyond just the tubing experience, the staff was extremely kind, and the owner had even given us two canoes (of no expense) to search for our keys that unfortunately had fallen into the river. These acts of kindness go far beyond business, and it was not lost on us. Highly recommend this activity/rentals to those who are looking for a relaxing retreat, with great customer service. These guys have your back. (update: a kind individual returned our keys back to us, and we are all good now thankfully)

Recently kayaked down the river this last weekend and it was amazing. It was the first time in a long time my husband and I were kid free and we enjoyed it. It was super busy and hard to get around the tubes but that just goes to show how nice the river is. Nothing Riverside can do obviously. I don’t have anything bad to say about them. My brother in law Kohl B works there and helped us get our kayaks! Great people that work there!
