    In September 2021 my basement flooded and I called Jarvis Property Restoration. The gentlemen who came to look at my basement told me he could save my carpet and could have a crew out by the weekend. After days of no responses to my phone calls Jarvis finally showed with a crew. I showed the crew my basement and they said they knew exactly what to do. I went up stairs and less than ten minutes later I returned to my basement to see that my carpet was ripped up. I explained that I wanted my carpet saved and the person heading the crew responded with "Don't worry about it, it will all work out". They left fans running in my basement and came back a few days later to pick them up. Two months later I received a bill for $1,900 for less than 20 minutes service in my home and half a basement that has ripped up carpet. I would not recommend Jarvis, they did not take the time to make sure the customers needs were satisfied. They clearly wanted to make quick money and didn't even care to follow up.     What a bad experience... The only good thing I can say about this company was that they were the only company to go out and inspect the water damage to my basement while my power was still out. The other company's I called wanted to wait until the power was restored. The rest of my experience has been horrible. After they said they completed the dry out of my basement, I found a puddle of standing water behind my stairs that they missed. The response I received was "oops." There was never any good communication about what the next steps were from the project manager. I pretty much never heard from him. After the work was completed I never heard a word about the re-construction of the damage in my basement. Just a bill a mouth later (only an amount, no detail of the services provided). A called the project manager and he was surprised that no one contacted me, but never followed through to make sure that I was contacted. I reached asking for a brake down of the bill and when I received it the wrong address was listed on the invoice. The representative I spoke with said she would need to check with someone regarding this issue, but it's been over 2 days and I still haven't heard a word from Jarvis. It is clear to me that this company doesn't care about the customers that they service. I would truly avoid using Jarvis's services at all costs. Services: Remodelling, Water damage cleanup
