Additional Reasons for Leaving Prentiss Pointe Apartments (Breaking our Lease) As of: Our apartment: (As of the date we turned in our Apartment Keys) Dated: April 3, 2024. NOT FIXED Laundry room since we moved in smells like Sewer. NOT FIXED They came out 3 times to check and fix with no avail. NOT FIXED One of our bedroom windows the seal needs repair for months or years. a. Been told not in the budget or perhaps in next year budget. b. Makes this bedroom hot in the summer and cold in winter. Smaller bathroom sink has crack and glued to the counter informed mgt in the1st month. a. Implies that sink cannot be replaced without the counter. Paint job is horrendous that we had to repair many places. Carpet is so cheap less than one year show walkway wear. Many other items just shows that tenants very hard on APT. I could go on and on, show pictures, but what is the point. And you still want us to pay Mays Rent! How Sad that they must like money more instead of tenants. =================================== Renters beware when looking at these apartments. First of all, there are NO 12 MONTHS LEASES we never been told that the leases are 13 or 18 months. Nowhere on the lease papers does it show how long the lease is for. When we moved in here was a great place to live here for about 6 months. Today to a point it is scary, has security issues and puts me at arm lengths to continue living here. Also, if you are not going re-lease your unit you have to let them know 45 days before your last month rent is due. Also, you do not want to break your lease near the end of your present lease the costs will be staggering like thousands of dollars + your last month rental has to be paid as well. May I add the management including the Lease manager will state differently thoughts, comments, or stories to a point that you will not know just who to believe! Persons that speak in forked tongues (says one thing and then says this else) will have to answer to their higher power who I call God. I do not like post negative comments, but in this case, people have to know what is going on at the facility I cannot keep quiet about this to other people! However, there are too many large dogs, unruly children, some children that beat on trees and branches with aluminum baseball bat and on small trees, shrubs around apartments. Also destroys tenants outdoor lighting and displays. Now the new thing is breaking glass bottles on sidewalks. Our apartment: 1 Laundry room since we moved in smells like Sewer. 2 The come out to check and fix with no avail. 3 One of our bedroom windows the seal needs repair for months. 4 Makes this bedroom hot in the summer and cold in winter. 5 Smaller bathroom sink has crack and glued to the counter. 6 Implies that sink cannot be replaced without the counter. 7 Paint job was horrendous that we had to repair many places. 8 Carpet is so cheap the less the one year is show walkway wear. 9 Many other items just shows that tenants very hard on APT. I could go on and on, show pictures, but what is the point. IN TODAYS WORLD YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT EVERYTHING BEFORE LEASING OR BUYING. Thanks for taking your time in reading this.

Edit: I was reached out to by the team and really glad they all talked to me. I appreciated that a lot. Had to get my bathtub refinished twice because it was completely flat when I moved in years ago. Well, the contractor came this past week while I was in Japan. I came home today with the drain sealed shut. Called emergency maintenance just to be laughed at and told he wasn't coming out for that, verbatim. He agreed that it sounded like the contractor sealed it while refinishing. I get it's not an emergency but being rude and unprofessional isn't it. Had to use the end of a screwdriver and a hammer to open up my sealed tub drain. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have been able to shower until they decided to come. I've lived here three years and would say the main selling point is, or now was, the maintenance crew. Not sure who it was but sounded new. Not to mention the contractor who never called to figure out a date with me or left a note so I knew they were in my apartment.
