I really dont understand how can anyone give one star to firefighters. They are heroes and underpaid more than any job which includes saving lifes. House next to mine caught on fire (cause was wiring on the top and spread down to 2nd unit) It was already coming out of windows and started blowing towards house on the right and left (my side) 2 nieces and 2 nephews of mine were taken from down from upper unit in matters of minutes (carried by firefighters). If not for those guys answering call so quick at least 6 lifes would been in great danger. Another case I happened to walk on Conant down by church where building caught on fire. I was in shock when I saw 4 guys going upstairs to clear it and building was already bursting out and flames coming from windows that I felt burning my skin on the other side of road probably around 150 feet. I have already moved away from sidewalk just across (when they went in). They came down with cat or dog Im not sure tbh. Just seeing them walk up without any hesitation it still gives me goosebumps. I worked in medical field, in emergency trauma room and Ive seen a lot as well But that was basically going in not knowing if youll get out alive. Thanks for all great job.
