My experience here was horrible. the barber was rude, cold, and standoffish. She was unwelcoming, cold, and could barley bring herself to speak to us. I suppose this could have been fine if she knew how to do a fade. she ruined my oldest sons hair and the photos of the fade he got are laughable. I cant think of any other reason she was so rude and arrogant besides that we are not white. I suppose we didn't fit the demographic she was hoping to attract. I'm not sure how one is a barber but cant do a simple high fade. At one point my two year old asked for the bottle of water sitting out, and she didn't even offer to sell it me. it was such an awkward and uncomfortable experience. Its obvious we were not welcome so will not be returning. edit: since I can not respond to your response. Janet, I did see that you called and left a voicemail. It is not my responsibility to teach you how to treat people, let alone people who are not white. there are plenty of resources in the vastness of the internet which can guide you. It is also sad that you didn't know how to be cordial, welcoming, or polite for the mere fact that I was a paying patron in your establishment. one where you were attempting to build clientele. disappointed by the refund. I tipped you 25 percent you should have kept that. I did not ask for my money back, and find that gesture ridiculous, and presumptuous, and reveling that you think that I wanted monetary compensation when I only wanted to be treated with dignity. No one is better at giving a guy an amazing haircut than Janet. Best in San Diego. A great haircut will make or break a man. Strongly recommend Janet.
