Verheyden Funeral Home did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my family and the arrangements for the passing of my mother. In particular, Joseph, showed so much patience, kindness, sincerity, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. He made himself available via phone, text or email if we had questions or if I wanted to add something to my moms obituary. He also took care of every detail on the day of the funeral, so that our family could focus on each other and grieving. The viewing, funeral mass, and burial were beautiful. My father and entire family felt that my mother was honored and her life celebrated beautifully. Joseph and Verheyden Funeral Homes kindness, compassion and dedication will never be forgotten.

Verheyden staff was wonderful to work with during my mothers funeral planning and services. We worked with JosephAleardi. He walked us through the entire planning process and was available to us by phone, email and text for any questions we had. Communication was excellent. All the staff during the wake made sure we had everything we needed. They make a tough emotional situation less stressful. Highly recommend.

Alfonso and brain were very nice, and were amazing on helping with the repath. On the hand a couple days before my dad funeral they asked us to change our time. We changed our time to help them out, yet they rushed us through the whole service. The obituary didnt get read or any cards. They only allowed two people to say a few remarks, for 2 minutes each. Then another family had a viewing right after our funeral and it started to seem like those families more important than us. They were very pleasant, yet I wonder if that was a show because they knew beforehand that they would be rushing us through the service. Its one thing to ask us to start early, but the fact that we agreed and then they rushed us out was really unbelievable and unacceptable. Its a beautiful establishment, but they should never schedule viewing and funeral at the same time if you cant fully accommodate both families.
