While we have always used Larks for the last 7 years, when we called today we were told they would no longer sell to us and hung up on us. They never gave us an explanation at all. They were polite but refused us service.

I went in to buy some spare shear bolts for my Ariens snowblower and was satisfied with buying those, however when I asked the guy at the counter to look up another part that I was looking to purchase he said it was not available. This is when I asked what the part number was so I could call around to try and source the part. I was told "no, we don't hand out part numbers. We pay for the software and do all the work, so we don't hand out part numbers." This is the first business that has refused to give me a part number for anything, including numerous auto dealerships. Guess I'll be going elsewhere for my shear bolts and everything else from now on...

Applauding Lark for the great customer service! I read through some of the reviews, some great some not so great. Like any other local business the reviews are mixed, I decided to give lark a shot for help with identifying and getting parts for my riding mower. Not only were they very professional and nice to work with they were able to figure out what I needed and they had it in stock! Fairly priced for a small business. I will be doing business here in the future. Seems some people just have had a bad experience due to not receiving what they want or think is right, regardless of how the business operates, just my two cents.

Terrible customer service is spot on... I called in for a Ariens transmission belt. After looking, they did not have it in stock. So, I asked for the part number and was told "We don't give them out". A simple part number to help me find what I need and they can't give it out? I would understand if they had the part in stock. I definitely won't be recommending this place and won't be back for parts. Not sure why they are in business to sell parts if they aren't willing to help customers get what they need. Not everyone can wait to get parts and by the sounds of it, I'd probably get ripped off or be waiting weeks for the parts I have in my hand from another store already. I wish you all the day you deserve.

Friendly/polite staff, but they performed additional work beyond what was originally requested without asking for approval (effectively doubling the cost of the repair service) and then insisted the extra service be paid for. I was informed it was my fault they didn't call to let me know about the extra work since I didn't tell them to do so. Will not be going back, will not recommend to others.
