I'm so happy and proud to say my daughter just graduated from college...yay! This might not seem like a big deal but when Sandy met her in 4th grade (rather coincidentally) and discovered she was challenged in school due to dyscalculia (dyslexia in math), we started righting the ship. After she went through Sandy's program (specifically a reorientation process), she looked around and said "Hey, everything stopped wiggling! And the colors are brighter!!". Fast forward to today upon graduation - she traveled to New Zealand for an internship, has all kinds of confidence, and has been heard saying "you know, i'm pretty smart!". Thank-you Sandy for putting us on the path!

Eli started with the Davis Autism Program with Sandy which lasted about 1 year before we moved onto the Dyslexia program. Sandra informed us that since Eli has Autism, that he would need to complete the Davis Autism Program before moving onto the Davis Dyslexia program. We are so thankful that we followed her advice! It isn’t a cheap program, but it is soooo worth it due to the results. Before Eli started the Davis Autism program, he had difficulty making eye contact, difficulty starting conversations with others, usually talked about what his interests were and didn’t care to talk about other people’s interests. He also had a very hard time focusing on his school work. After the Davis Autism program, Eli started making and maintaining eye contact, he stated initiating conversations with others and asking questions about them and having lengthy back and forth conversations not based on what he was interested in! He learned how to “orient” himself to where he could focus and stay focused especially on his school work, and if his brain started to wonder off, he was able to orient himself again based on the orientation method taught in the Davis Autism Program.

We had a wonderful experience at New Chapters Learning! We have been fighting our school district for many years about our daughters reading. She has never been grade level proficient. After years of fighting we finally got an IEP, which helped, but not much. After watching our daughters confidence level drop significantly to the point of her pretty much giving up on school, fighting us to do homework and seeing her test scores drop each marking period. We finally made the decision that the school was not going to do anything else or more for her and was told about Sandra and New Chapters. Since completing the program our daughter has a new found confidence. She was getting D’s and C’s on tests and is now getting A’s and B’s!!! Her recent school test scores also went up!!! She is doing so much better in reading!! We can not say enough about the program and about Sandra! It has done wonders for our daughter!

Hi Sandra! I just read the newsletter from New Chapter Learning and it brings back so many memories. Just reminding me how thankful we are that you helped make this program possible for Calvin with the scholarship, etc. He has done so well since taking your program! Approx. 10 years later... He is going to the University of Northwestern Ohio for his associate in Agriculture Equipment Technician. He is on the Dean's list! He just texted me last night, saying he wanted to double up on his classes there so he could finish sooner. Only the top students are allowed to do that and have to keep their grades up. We are so proud of him but also realize this would never have been without the Davis Program that you helped him through! Thanks again so much!!!

Sandy helped my 12 year old son, recently diagnosed with Dyslexia. The change in his school performance has been remarkable. In 6th grade, he struggled to achieve B's and C's and now in 7th grade, is easily achieving mostly A's and a few B's. His comprehension in reading has improved and he no longer struggles to stay organized. Not only has his reading improved, but so has his engagement within the classroom. He no longer struggles to remember assignments and tests and is able to complete his assignments and study for tests independently. As a psychologist, I'm very excited to find this program. I have had many bright young clients in my practice who struggle with motivation, attention, performance and other aspects of school. I always knew there was something else going on besides ADD/ADHD, depression or anxiety. Understanding Dyslexia and especially Twice Exceptional (Gifted with a learning disability) has given me a whole new understanding of these clients. And I think The Davis Program is a great key to helping many of these clients. I can see that correcting Dyslexia will lead to decreased if not the complete elimination of the psychological symptoms they often present in my office. I will highly recommend Sandy and her services to my clients.
