We met Abigail after starting the home search process with another realtor. We felt she was much better at listening to what we wanted and needed in a Home. She was considering our 'design aesthetic' even when we felt like getting something we loved wouldn't be possible with the limited Grand Rapids market. Abigail is incredibly cordial and patient. We had to conduct our home search all the way from Seattle while we waited for our home to sell - and it took all summer! We texted weekly, shared homes, refined our search, etc. week after week for something like 5 months. I felt pretty bad about that but Abigail never mentioned it and continued to reassure me that this is part of the process. Her Knowledge of the Grand Rapids area was super helpful. It seems you can go 5 blocks in any direction and be in a completely different feeling neighborhood (and even unsafe). Not being local, we were grateful she could provide these insights. We thought we'd find a great deal and she'd already know why it was too good to be true. Abigail also has 'the connection'. She was able to work through her office and network to find homes that were being sold 'off-market', find out why homes were sitting for a long time and even find us people that were renting out their beautiful homes (versus dodgy rentals you might typically find online). Lastly, once we did find our home, she was able to negotiate us moving in before we officially closed on the house which allowed us to get somewhat settled before I started my new job. Abigail also gave us connections for church, schools, parents going through similar issues with developmental challenges and more! We still stay in touch today and I'm grateful she's in our lives. I am a local agent and recently closed a deal with Abigail Corcoran. I wanted to say she is one of the best agents I have aver worked with. This deal had many facets to it and we worked though them all together to make this a very smooth deal for both her client and mine. When my husband and I met Abigail we were both very impressed by her attention to detail about what we both wanted in a home. She made sure to ask questions to get to know us more and met us where we were at emotionally in the process of buying a home. Most importantly, she helped me buy a home (sooner than I had expected) after I faced a tragedy. She was compassionate towards me as I went through the home-buying process with a different mental state and had my best interests in mind every time we looked at a house. I am so thankful I met Abigail and I would highly recommend her to anyone buying a home!
