Nothing but positives to say about Select 1 Michigan. Working with Tracy and Angie has been a wonderful experience! Issues are addressed quickly in a professional polite manner. They have gone above and beyond. This has had very positive effect on our community who dealt with rudeness and nothing but grand promises under management of previous company.

Worked with Angie at Select 1 and she was able to get me exactly what I needed very quickly. She was also very friendly. Outside of that, not the best experiences.

Home owner in Bailey's Grove.. HOA fees were being taken out automatically as soon as last year... now they want you to pay online at a portal, that will not grant me access... call a little after 3 pm on Friday to get this figured out, if I can send in a check, they close on Fridays at 3... I will be petitioning the neighborhood to get a new company to manage our neighborhood...

Due to Covid, I had not been living in the country and decided to relocate outside the USA for my health. During this time, I sent this company notification that I would not be getting any mail and requested be rerouted to a different address. Every year, there is property owners association fees, I did not get this year statement and therefore did not have the updated information on address to send payment. Instead of contacting me via phone, this property management decided to arbitrarily start charging late and legal fees to initiate 'foreclosure' for such a small amount. This is a very abusive practice and in light of COVID effects in society, unethical. They are charging $1,223 in legal and late fees over a $335 yearly association fee. More than anything, I want to warn all residents in the area and anyone looking to do business with this company. Looks like Select 1 Property Management may have some sort of agreement with Varnum, attorney at law to be complicit in these kind of unethical practices.
