Very professional and answers any and all questions with patience and understanding. I loved her more relaxed personality it helped put me at ease with my first pregnancy and the anxiety that comes with that.

Edit- a year later its still so fresh in my mind, I believe I will never forget this horrible treatment and experience. I also got a second opinion and the doc told me that I will need surgery in the future to repair all the damage done due to way this doctor delivered my baby. I wouldnt wish this on anyone, AVOID this doctor. In my opinion, she should not be allowed to practice at all! Not a great experience for a first time mom at all! I would recommend to go with a midwife or a different OBGYN. - I was fully dilated and was told I could not push and had to wait for the doctor for 45 min! Baby was already coming out on her own and I had to "hold" her in. When the doctor got there she was surprised as to why my labor was stalled! Keep in mind I had no epidural and had to endure 45 min of contractions while waiting. - I was not allowed to push how I wanted per my birth plan to prevent tearing - had to do purple pushing on my back, hold my breath, which caused all sorts of postpartum issues which I'm still dealing with. When my doula, my mom and my husband advocated for me several times and I spoke up a few times as well mentioning that I learned different ways of pushing, the response was something along the lines of "That's not how we do things here". - My birth plan was not taken into consideration - I wanted a simple warm compress applied to prevent tearing, this was not done at all, even though we asked. I had no complications that would cause my birth plan to be disregarded. - When I hemorrhaged, a comment was made along the lines of "Aren't you glad you are in a hospital?". Yes, that was my decision and I chose to give birth at the hospital, because I expected a better experience. - I was also stitched incorrectly and had to go in to do a perineal revision a couple of months later. My birth experience seemed very "conveyer belt" like, no consideration for my feelings/desires/birth plan and pretty bad bedside manners. I wanted to share my experience in hopes to ensure this does not happen to others as it was pretty traumatizing.
