I’ve had the honor of multiple experiences with the staff and clients who are involved with alternative pathways over the last few years. The community exhibited by staff and clients is amazing to watch. They love and care for each other and enjoy taking care of each other. Staff members are friendly, dedicated, helpful in helping residents grow in independence.

The director and staff for this program do very little to support their clientele. Patients have to walk to the "med house" to get their medication and are often left alone for most of the day without staff checking in on them. The staff does very little to support the clients other than daily home checks and maybe taking them to the grocery every week or two. Their care objectives and growth objectives are often not worked on. The director of the program grooms male clients to have an unhealthy dependence on her. If male clients have friends in the community, the director will often interrogate them and even verbally harass them and sometimes slander them to the clients. Staff has taken money from clients under the promise of getting them something they'd like and never holding up their end of the agreement. This facility doesn't actively work to help these patients become apart of society, they don't take them on postitive outings or do activities with them, they don't help them reach their goals, instead they have them sit around all day and watch television. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone who wants their family to be well treated.
