USA Insulation of Grand Rapids

I found this gap in my siding today and when I went to check it out I found that the siding was free-floating. I then checked out where they had removed the siding on other parts of our home and found out that everywhere I checked they failed to reattach the siding to our home. The also did not replace any of the Tyvek that they cut out. I also found a receptacle where cold air was blowing through where I never noticed it before. I had to remove the receptacle myself and spray my own insulation there. Finally, their original quote failed to address an entire floor of our home which significantly added to the cost of the project. UPDATE: When I called them about the issues they expressed great concern. An appointment was scheduled to do the "repairs" but the young man was there less than an hour. He showed my wife a few photos and said they got it all taken care of. There was no way he could have done everything required in such a short amount of time. When I got home I checked out the siding and still found several loose spots. Later, I found another gap in the siding and some areas where it looked like the siding was not snapped together correctly. I called again and they made it clear they were concerned. Another appointment was made and they sent Mike from the other side of the state. He was terrific and made it clear that the previous people did not take care of things properly. He spent hours taking things apart and even found where some foam needed to be replaced or repaired requiring another appointment. When all is said in done, it is true I should not have had to go through all this and I would be lying if I said I wouldn't hesitate to recommending USA Insulation to others, but the fact that they are trying so hard to make it right means a lot and leads me to think that the Grand Rapids team needs more oversight from the main office. UPDATE2: They discovered that the foam they made the first time did not set properly. They will have to do the entire job over again. I am thrilled that they are professional enough and caring enough to do the right thing.

The work they did was very good, and they did an awesome job at cleaning up any messes and fixing outlets that didnt fare well. The thing that bothered me though was there were parts of my home that couldnt be insulated, and no one told me that upfront that it was even something that could happen. So I still have 1 drafty room as a result.

My husband and I hired usa insulation to insulate our very old house. The crew that came out were extremely nice and friendly. They arrived on time both days of the project.They were very polite and professional the whole time. If i had any questions they answered them and when I got things mixed up the site manager asked if i would like him to show me what he was talking about. He took the extra time to make sure it was exactly what i wanted and at the end he even thanked me for my time. All in all i highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a job done correctly and efficiently.

The estimator was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He gave us all the current discounts, explained the entire procedure, with pictures. The GR1 Install team was on time and went right to work after inspection of the home for possible problems. The team was very thorough, polite, and careful of our home. The team lead went over and above to make sure everything was done correctly. The team worked in 20 degree weather without a complaint! Treated us as though we we family. Very satisfying.
