AC Hotel by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown

Perfect place to stay when doing business in Grand Rapids, near downtown. Clean, neat. The small bar opens at 4 and serves sandwiches and happy hour foods. Was actually pretty good and I didn't have to go out into the 25MPH winds to eat.

Great location downtown however parking options have gotten worse. The lot right outside their door is now privately owned so parking is available at the JW garage. On a day where its sunny and 60? Not a big issue walking a few blocks but having to haul stuff back to the car after checking out, or getting the car and coming back to the hotel to the load up isnt efficient. What about during a winter storm or downpour ?

This is a beautiful hotel that is modern, clean, and in the perfect location for downtown events. The main level bar is also a great place to get a drink in the evening (or any time, really). I love the easy check-in and check-out process that you can do on the app... I'll definitely be staying here again!

Had a great stay and front desk was amazing! Until we were checking out The most sarcastic man was behind the front desk 3/10/24 while checking out. Trying to get my parking ticket validated he belittled me and expected me to know what questions he was going to ask. example Hi can i give you my parking ticket? Thanks for your parking ticket. .. What room number??! I answered. Thanks i was waiting for you to tell me. ( so strange!!!) i then walked away while my friend was waiting by desk still and he said Well ill give this to u because she walked away. Just weird and rude
