Distinctive Catering

Distinctive Catering is top notch. They are both pleasant to work with and the food/service is outstanding. I've had them help with two wedding receptions for my kids, as well as many years for an annual conference. Last weekend at this conference, they again had an awesome hot breakfast and a great box lunch. They know lunch speed is important to us, and they got 800 people through the line in 9 minutes. Amazing!

Distinctive catering was a phenomenal vendor to work with! They offered a tasting for us that was very thorough and extensive with the options they offer. Leading up to the wedding day, communication was thorough and responses were very quick. They let us know everything to expect and how it will happen the day of. Big shout out to Emily who really made it all so easy! Setting up the day before our wedding, we had a few linens short and the napkins were missing. They hand delivered them to our venue on 2 separate occasions which was so helpful. On the wedding day, they arrived on time. The staff was dressed and appeared so professionally. They set up and took down quickly all while serving on time. We really appreciated their time and help because it made it go so smoothly on the big day!!

I am a wedding DJ. I experience all sorts of caterers thanks to my job. Distinctive continues to be the top of my list. Is the food the best you ever had ever? No, but its GOOD every single time whereas other big caterers in town can be hit or miss. They staff their events with people who actually want to work and care about the events- shout out to Andrea who was the lead at McKay Tower on 12/16! Just over all the one caterer I can always count on to get hot food out in an efficient timely manner.

DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR EVENT. Distinctive catering is probably one of the most selfish and opinionated and rude catering companies you can probably ever go through when we planned our wedding we were within their 6 months. And we decided to go through someone else and they denied us our return on our $700 deposit and we had to fight them tooth and nail to get it back and it was not worth it we ended up having $700 of food catered for our dinner rehearsal instead of our main event and it was the wrong food to begin with we had six meals and I think they gave us four they weren't the right meals not a single one of them they never picked up our calls they never returned our calls and unless we were setting something up that involved money they were not there for us whatsoever I will never go through distinctive catering ever again because of how selfish unprofessional and rude the people that work there are I cannot believe that a catering company would treat their customers the way that we were treated during our very stressful week for our wedding.
