I purchased 172 cartons of Eastern White Cedar shingles in 2011 for a new waterfront house in NJ (color: milkweed). We have been immensely pleased with the look of our house with natural wood shingles. Over ten years later ('22), the shingles look brand new, and we have not had not a single issue with our shingles. A North facing exposure developed some mildew, which came off immediately with just a little soap and light scrubbing. Cedar singles are very expensive, and installation is another 2X the cost of the materials. We found Cedar Singles Direct provides a great product at a fair price and would highly recommend them.
