Our experience with Mathison and Mathison Architects (MMA) has been exceptional in working with them to design and construct a Michigan second home for our family. I am a real estate investor and developer and have worked with many architects over decades and I put MMA at the very top tier. They are smart, capable, considerate, talented, attentive to detail, have a clear design philosophy, work well with contractors and work hard to discern what we wanted in a home and delivered on objectives. The process started with a detailed analysis of how we live and they masterfully translated that analysis in to an extraordinarily designed home. MMA inquired in detail, they listened, they interpreted what we wanted and thoughtfully designed an extraordinary home for us, which we are loving. They delivered on their representations and they do what they say they will do. Every person we encountered at MMA is smart, considerate, talented and is attentive to details. MMA worked well with our contractors throughout the construction cycle. There is no aspect of this project that could have gone better than it did. I highly recommend MMA and look forward to working with them again in future projects.
