Life Church Grand Haven

i see the pastor or his wife out and his kids say hi to me and ask me about my daughter, but the pastor and their wife stone wall me. What a waste of leadership. I only have one child, and wanted to bond with her worshiping God. But they kicked me out, and lie, claiming it was a legal obligation to do so. I've never been so discriminated against by ppl who said I was welcome... I joined the prayer team then they blocked my number. God forbid

I was liking the church until I was called and told they didn't want me back. There is no church that's done that to me. They discussed not their reason but I tried to look into what happened to no result & this was right after I joined the prayer team. [Response from the owner] "Phil, this was not discrimination, but was actually a legal requirement, as confirmed by the Grand Haven police department while you were there, in regards to the PPO that is in place against you." But the Bias is that you know there is a PPO placed against Haley Smith since 8/22/22 and you have chosen to keep quiet about it instead to make it look like you're not bias instead of helping us work the situation out when we reached out to you. Bias and picking one over the other is discrimination in fact

This community of people are so authentically pursuing Jesus and their relationship with the Lord, you cant help but feel welcomed and loved in any circumstance you walk in from. It can be hard to find a church without pretense but this is the first church we have experienced where the Acts 2 church actually is being lived out - all gifts and all resources and all minds and hearts together spurring each other on toward both good deed and God-honoring living. Our family has teenagers and college kids and we have found so many ways to connect and serve at Life Church. We are blessed and so grateful to have walked through these doors and to walk out of them each week better equipped and humbled to reflect the love of Jesus in every encounter we have.
