Delta County Veterans Memorial Park

Acceptable but barely passable as a Veterans memorial. Take a closer look and you'll notice the disgraceful disrepair on the glory that is an A-4 Skyhawk, due to the city's disconcern for upkeeping such an antique in Korean/Vietnamese War History, and the inhumane countermeasures on the benches that I highly doubt my ancestors fought for. Contradictory to our nations' footsteps, and frankly a fragrant, public display of disrespect to my family's military service. Its a tiny lot that a rich, tiny city dedicated to a larger purpose that the lot could handle. I can't say I'm surprised a small, preparatory town neglected the due respect of the Veterans that made it possible, but its just sad. Do better, City of Gladstone..this is what my citizens tax goes for? To neglect a beautiful attack-bomber while you overpay teenagers to clean up litter at Van Cleve to make the tourists happy? While you forsake and patronize our fighting men and women? This is not a memorial, and only passes as one out of pitty. No disrespect here to our fighting forces, nor your honor. (past present and future) is exactly why I post this. You deserve better than this.
