We recently worked with the Garden City Public Service department in regards to a sewer line issue. The supervisor was very responsive and involved with the sewer line issue. He made us feel supported throughout the process and made sure that we were taken care of promptly. Thank you again!

The woman who answers the phones is incredibly useless. She's clearly in a hurry to get off the phone and refuses to answer questions beyond a one sentence answer. Hire someone who at least pretends to like their job please.

The lady was very inpatient & just wanted to end the call as fast as possible. This led to her giving me incorrect information.

I've owned a home in Garden City for 25 years and have never had a problem with this department. My bills are received at least 2 weeks before they are due and the online payment is a little confusing at first. All you have to do is enter your address and it brings up the bill. A $2 service fee is paid to the credit card company to process the payment. Only complaint I have is the water pressure is not as strong as larger cities like Livonia, but that could be due to infrastructure issues.
