I would give Katie one star for pretending like she cared about myself and my custody case in the beginning. Although I went back to my captor and child's dad, I still had her on retainer and she became extremely lazy and unhelpful. Ms. Baluha claimed the abuse myself and my son endured was not "relevant" and that I did not have substantial evidence to prove child abuse, even though I had pictures of myself to prove it. I didn't have pictures of proof on my son because he never left marks on him. I may not have pressed charges on my captor but I was a victim of revictimization and Baluha made me feel entirely judged. Her exact words at the custody hearing were as follows: "Either you accept this deal, or the judge decides and you likely get 50/50." Complete waste of time, energy and valuable money for a single mom trying to make it on her own after several years of financial abuse from my ex. Thanks a lot for nothing. I wouldn't recommend you to anyone. I ended up getting Sole physical and joint legal, and he has 10 nights a month. 10 Chances a month to hurt my baby. Nope.

Do not HESITATE- CHOOSE KATIE MARIE LAW!!! Katie and her Team have represented me for 6 years total and I cannot speak highly enough of her.
