Lake Marjory State Forest Campground

It's a nice little rustic campground. The lake is small, but I have caught some nice fish out of it.

Minimal vegetation to provide privacy between campsites, but extremely convenient to the interstate highway. The adjacent highway also equates to a lack of solitude, at least at most hours of the day and night. The water pump was bagged and out of order when we visited, though it appeared the DNR was providing gallon containers of bottled water for campers until the well could be fixed. Only one site was occupied when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Prospective campers shouldn't encounter any issue finding an open site. Everything here is first come first served with no need for advance reservations. Restrooms: Vault toilet, in good repair and clean

Great place, except we landed on a day locals decided to party all night. Normally staying here this is not then case, unfortunately dnr did not come in till after weekend, and they were gone, rest of stay was pleasant. Definitely traffic noise did not bother me.

Nice little campground it between two majors roads but nice.
