        They charge the public double /triple so they can sell to commerical companies at a loss so they can get their business! Highway Robbery! and shame on any local car dealers using auto zone! use locally owned auto parts! Auto Zone is garbage and not locally owned! 268 for a monroe strut i found in flint same strut for only like 160!!! they cheat the public back yard mechanic to get into places like Joels etc,,,, DuraJunk!

        UPGRADING from 2/5 to 5/5 after the regional manager contacted me and made this right due to my original review (below). He said the employee in question had previous complaints and would no longer be in customer contactwhich I found to be true when I returned to the store and redeemed the gift card sent to more than compensate me. GREAT JOB! [[ORIGINAL REVIEW: This would be one star except for the courteous, helpful employee who originally assisted me with purchase of a cargo net. The plastic frame fell apart almost immediately. When I ATTEMPTED to return it (WITH receipt), the manager tried to persuade me that it was supposed to fall apart. He then stalled processing my return for so long that I finally left the part behind and exited the store before losing my temper at being treated so badly.]]
