Went there last year everything was fine but I started my taxes this year so I called them to ask a simple question they put me on hold to find it then when they found it they said I was breaking up and wouldnt tell me the numbers I needed so I asked why and they said they dont have time but yet they had time to find the numbers I was talking about but didnt have time to tell me then they proceeded to hang up

My husband and I have been using Tadricks for over 20 years. They have always been timely and accurate. Unfortunately, this year was an exception. We came in for our appointment and had all the documentation needed. I called a couple of times during that week to see how long it would be. They were very friendly but said they didn't know. We waited for over a week to get a call to come in to sign so that it could be filed. We have never waited more than a day.

I have been going to Tadricks for years and have never been dissatisfied. I have even had to call them throughout the year for various things and they were always helpful. This year was no exception. This year I had the opportunity to work with Briana Langridge and she was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the results and would recommend Tadricks, and Briana, to anyone.

Dropped off our taxes and that was fine. They were completed the next day. We picked them up and when we got home we were looking at them and realized we made a mistake and forgot a form. We called them right away and they said Brianna would call us back when she was done with her appointment. We never received a call. I went on the website and uploaded the document. They still hadnt called so I called them back at 9:30 am and explained the situation and they said they would call and by 12:30 still no return call. We called them back and talked to Vicky and she looked into it and said she grabbed our file. We didnt hear anything back. Called again around 6:30 and talked to Vicky and she didnt know what we were talking about. So my husband went to the Flint location and Brianna wouldnt even come out and talk to him and he could hear her yelling. She wasnt happy about adding the form. Then charged us an extra $100 to add one form. They are very unprofessional and we will not return and we have went to Taddricks for years.

I had an appointment at Tadrick's Tax Services in Burton last Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:30 am. I am a first time customer. Upon entering the building I was greeted by two worker ladies. Very friendly and hospitable. I told the receptionist lady I have an 11:30 appointment. I gave them my paperwork and they signed me in. I was told to help myself to some freshly made popcorn and coffee. Then asked to have a seat for the next available tax specialist. A tax preparer, Evan came and greeted me. He seemed nice. But as we headed back to the room for tax prep. He just kept talking like crazy omg! He kept going on and on about a bunch of jibberish. He was also pushing retirement investments planning. That was very annoying. I am there to have my taxes done. That's all. I swear he kept going at least 8 times on the investing. He said I can contribute $500 to $1000 per month to a specialty tax investment right there at the office. I did not like that at all. Do my taxes nothing else. Another thing is he never discussed upfront how much the tax prep would cost me. I read another customer Google review. Said $120 starting. He charged me $160 for 15 mins of service. What a joke. I only had 5 papers. Two were my W-2's. I am very disappointed in that Evan. I felt he did not really work to get me a better refund. I ended up paying $22,000 in income taxes for 2023 (two jobs combined). I am getting a federal refund of $313, state refund of $799. I honestly believe I should have been getting a better refund from the federal government then what Evan came up with. He is not efficient. He talks way too much when he was doing my return. Unbelievable! He could have easily made mistakes on my tax return. The ladies at the desk up front in the entranceway were great and very customer service oriented. It's this Evan guy I am not happy with period. Maybe a manager needs to address that to him and not give excuses for him. 15 mins of work = $160 fee. Tadrick's Tax could have offered a customer discount for first time customers. But they did not. Evan wasn't even really explaining what he was doing. He just kept yaking. Blah blah blah blah blah. I don't appreciate that. He even said at the beginning of my tax return that the state of michigan didn't take any state tax. What a fool. It's right in my W-2. I don't know what numbers he was looking at. But as a tax professional, Evan is not very professional. I am betting that alot of these so called tax professionals are not CPA's. Not even close. I don't recommend Tadrick's Tax in Burton. Sorry to say but I will not be going back there next year. I will search for a new tax service in 2025. I'll give Liberty Tax a try next year. Absolutely no justification for a very high filing fee of $160 and barely 15 mins of work. The more papers a customer has so goes the filing fee... way up. Whether Evan and any of your other tax professionals are efficient or not. My point is this. A $160 fee for 15 minutes work is not justifiable. I can see a fair charge of $100 to no more then $120 for my 2023 tax return. It was easy for him. Nothing to do with being efficient. Knowledge is more important in my opinion. My return needed nothing more then a 1040 ez form or 1040 A. Joke of a tax business. I won't be going back. First time and the last
