    I read a couple reviews while looking for an oral surgeon. I read a few one from "Connie" I think. I experienced very similar last year and then some. Office was unattended with only 1 person who advised she was cleaning up the mess a previous staff member. Again only 1?? She thought she was doing me a favor I guess. She didn't ..So between wasting my urgent time (she came up with many excuses)She was over her head trying to do this job. I am very familiar with health care, billing,procedures ECT I managed one for years and I'm telling u, then and at the time of ur review (Connie) nothing that should have improved apparently has not! With me they were not honest. They told me they didn't have an oral surgeon itself there as advertised and I would need to go to one affiliated with a hospital for any oral surgeries AND pay out of pocket!! I needed urgent care?! My question would be who owns this practice? If the office was as bad as she says why no help or owner taking responsibility. After reading the reply to ur review I was in shock! Who responds to a review the way they did! It started fine. We r sorry followed by an unprofessional, unethical, gaslighting response!!! The way u addressed the person who took time to help others with a review whether u agree with it or not was nothing more than deplorable! They have a duty to help patients understanding they r calling for a reason and treat them with dignity and worth deserved. I copied and saved the screen shot of the entire incident to forward. Talk about rude!!! Whether the patient is challenging or not you don't make it worse u should attempt to be kind and understanding in hope to calm the exchange. Many may be a bit confused or just finding out if u took their insurance. It's the office's job to listen, attempt to understand and be knowledgeable of basic info and understanding it. That didn't happen....from ur reply and the bad staff member who took the call.. Again, it seems not much as changed. It was not an acceptable office in many ways which includes misleading by stating there was an oral surgeon on site. There was not! And much more. I am curious about this practice. Anyway shame on all of you,,,,!!!? Ur reply was to jab back and that's not at all the right thing to do,,! That being said, I am curious about ur office. Hmm? Feel free to come after me because of these comments. So many major problems that are not improving. I'm curious how the office remains open. Oh, and u do not take public assistance. Did u know if u know if u take accept ( which it seems a receptionist)enough to do basic duties A MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN +LEARN WHAT THAT IS SWEETHEART.. There r tons depending on many variables but if u do, u or someone needs to notify medicaid...I'm sure u know the difference don't u?..MEDICARE and MEDICAID which also has many different kinds of Medicaid just FYI. The person who replied negatively of which has taken more time should know how this all works. But it's kind, patient, caring staff that is just as important! So, u are RUDE! THE CALLER WAS STRESSED AS TO BE EXPECTED AND WAS HANDLED BADLY.

    Referred to Dr. Goffas, for several extractions by Atna, my Medicare provider, who offers dental included in their Medicare Advantage Plan (Medicare has NO funding to provide dental directly.) My first statement "hi, I was referred to you, by my dental insurance provider, Atna." Young lady answering call then said "we don't take state insurance." I repeated my statement and added "I don't have state insurance (Medicaid), I have Medicare and my provider, Atna, referred me to your office." "She contniued to not listen to my statement, which i repeated many times! Then she says "we don't take Atna through employers." Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh I hung up. FYI I'm a RETIRED Social Worker, I WILL be calling Atna, to lodge an official complaint.

    I had two teeth pulled and I was nervous. The staff was very professional put me at ease had no problems. No pain from where the teeth were removed a little swelling but zero pain. The staff and everyone was great. Thanks

Hi there Connie,First off, we would like to apologize that the person who answered the phone was a bit confused on what insurance plan you had, as we get hundreds of calls a day regarding many different types of insurances. That is why an office manager got on the phone to rectify the problem. The manager tried to explain to you that certain offices are credentialed with certain insurances plans and unfortunately our private practice does not take your Medicare Advantage Plan. We cannot just take your insurance because you have insurance, rather it is a Medicare/Medicaid or private insurance plan. If we are not credentialed with the plan, we cannot bill your insurance, which means we cannot accept your insurance. The office manager tried to explain this to you politely to clarify any confusion but if you remember, you told her to "SHUT UP" and you hung up the phone. This was a a very rude act as someone was going above and beyond to help point you in the right direction. We will also file a complaint with google, as your behavior and review is out of line. We DO NOT tolerate bullying over the phone or via internet. We encourage you to seek a office that does take insurance and wish you the best of luck.
