Start My Wellness

I can only speak in regards to the nurse practitioners and not the therapy (already had a therapist outside of their office) This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a medical professional. I went there for medication management. The NP did not even listen to what I was saying about my current medication being ineffective and just told me to take a higher dose. Of course, the medication increase did nothing. After attempting to contact them, was told they don't really do messages and I'd need an appointment. During my second appointment, I asked to be put on a type of medication (not a controlled substance) I have used in the past and have always had success with. Instead, was put on another medication I'd never heard of. I was promised it would start helping alleviate things the first night. A week later, absolutely zero effect. When I yet again reached out, I was told to schedule an appointment for the next day. At this point, I said forget it and found a new psychiatrist because I was tired of talking to a brick wall. I truly believe the NP was far more interested in being the smartest person in the room rather than listening to their patient. It feels obvious what this is place is about as a couple other reviews have hinted at it. The medication management feels more like a cash grab at this place than helping patients with very serious issues. I would not recommend this place to anybody for assistance with their medication and would give zero stars if I could.

I can't recommend Start My Wellness enough. I have been a patient since 2022 and Madison has helped me so much! I have seen a few other professionals in the past, but she has truly helped me feel more grounded in my everyday life by giving me tools and practices to try out. We've worked a lot on finding new healthy coping mechanisms to deal with stress, giving myself more grace and finding more self acceptance. Start My Wellness has been key in my burn out healing journey.

Very nice facility in a good location. My therapist has helped me a great deal. Highly recommended.
