Transcendence Behavioral Health

I trusted TBH for almost three years and the unprofessional / negligent moments continued to stack up. Unfortunately I dont recommend their services and I hope no one else will find out the hard way.

Requires a credit card on file before you even step foot in the door/can make a appointment. Claim to be mental health providers but do not understand what people with mental health issues are dealing with. Update - No one discussed any alternative options in filling out paper/providing info. According to Sabine and Taline, since it was not completed 24 hours before appointment they decided to give my appointment away as I was waiting to be let in virtual room. I didnt receive notice (no email or call) that my appointment was being canceled and I have been waiting weeks to get this appointment. I scheduled an appointment somewhere else and they had no problem filling paperwork out at intake. Ive never had a doctor/health provider cancel an appointment on me as Im in the waiting room for not doing paperwork beforehand.

No return calls from the therapist. I get a call from the receptionist that tells me only the therapist can answer my questions, but she never calls. This is a time sensitive matter, and shows little to no care that she is in violation of my rights as a parent.

I was mislead. I call about sessions for an evaluation and to have an SSI letter about their findings written. Amanda left a message on my phone (which I still have) stating that Miss Williams was busy but another master level therapist could take on my case. It was a huge waste of time! The "therapist" they set me up with doesn't evaluate or write SSI letters. She sipped on her drink & compared me to herself. She said I don't know who told you I can write an SSI letter because I can't. Your receptionist told me you could write an SSI letter. How was this mismanaged? How did they not communicate this? Nobody there knows what they're doing. Bad listeners. They also hung up on me. Unprofessional.
