    I have been going to this Doctor for over 20 years. He is absolutely amazing at getting your prescription correct. Better than any other place I went the 20+ years before. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I would not trust anyone else with my eyes. As for the reviews about the other staff there, I have never had an issue with anyone being rude or unhelpful. They have always been friendly and very helpful to me. They look up the prices everything will cost with my insurance before my appointment and are the best at helping you pick out frames. I would 100% recommend Eye Spy Eye Care to anyone, anytime...

    I honestly feel scammed. I made an appointment a couple months ago to look into a newer issue I was having, have always had 20/20 eyesight and never needed glasses. The receptionists could be nicer to the patients. I understand some people are organized and just dont have good people skills, but an awful lot of us in the reviews determined theyre honestly just pretty rude. Doctor Oppenheim is great, he is the only reason I am giving this place at least a couple stars. I loved his methods for testing and that he uses the tv for something to watch to make the whole process more enjoyable and comfortable. Hes very friendly, understanding, and seems very experienced and knowledgeable. I told him about what I do for my profession and he knew exactly what I needed to ease some eye strain that had been causing my overall fatigue. Next came getting glasses. I passed my tests and proved I still have 20/20 vision but wanted to get better blue filter glasses for staring at computer screens and a *slight* prescription to ease strain while reading on screens. At first they thought my insurance wouldnt cover it, then the doctor wrote something additional on my chart, and boom it was going to be coveredor so I thought. They told me more than once that yeah, my insurance was going to cover my visit, frames, and lenses, and that is the absolute only reason I did a fitting for frames. The guy that helps with frames is kind of creepy. In moreso just an awkward way, but I feel like he was a little too friendly with me and I was uncomfortable. After I finally picked a set of frames, he told me my total due for the day was over $200. I was shocked because they literally told me it was all covered, but I reluctantly still paid. I had chosen frames in a different color than what they had in stock and they quoted me 2-3 weeks before theyd be ready. Since I have fine vision I wasnt in a rush. 3 weeks go by, I get a call that my glasses are ready to get picked up. I go in, they have me try on my frames, and then tell me Im all set to go and theyll call me in 2 weeks when theyre ready.but they told me that my glasses were completely ready to be picked up?? They didnt say I was coming in just to try on frames that I already chose, they said the glasses were ready. Whats worse is before I left, the creepy guy asked to confirm I wasnt doing blue filters. Good thing he asked because blue filters are literally the only reason I was going through with getting glasses in the first place! Very unimpressed at this point, but since I already paid for everything and made it this far, I cant back out now. I called back after about 2 more weeks of additional waiting for an update and the receptionist says that my frames were on backorder and asks if I got their message about waiting.but I already came in and tried them on a while ago. She then tells me that they actually are ready for pickupso they just never called to let me know that they were ready for pickup and who knows how long theyve been ready. Extremely unimpressed with the service of this business.
