    We had Hartford & Ratliff come in and replace an exterior faucet and our gas line to our dryer. They were very professional and completed the job quicklythe pricing also seemed more than fair. Would certainly recommend them and will be having them back for a few other projects in the near future.

    5 Stars for getting my boiler system replaced a couple years ago. Zero stars for customer service!! I called to ask a simple question about my thermostat and I was told by the lady that answered the phone that she can't give me advice. She did say that I have a warranty. I asked if I could speak with someone else. She put me on hold and then said there isn't anyone available to speak with. I asked if someone could call me back and she said "no, we can't give advice over the phone." She said she can schedule a service call for $189!! My thermostat temp won't go above 66 and all I wanted to know is if I should reset the boiler. 1 simple question for $189.

    Zack came out over the New Years holiday weekend and accessed my no heat situation and got a replacement boiler installed for me as he promised right after the holiday. They took care removing the old boiler so the rust and soot did not get on the carpet in the basement or the steps from the basement. They were respectful and kept me informed of the progress as they worked. The workmanship was excellent.

    Hired this company to fix an error on our commercial water heater in my business. It was over the weekend. They charged over $500 to come out and unplug the unit and plug it back in (something that could have been suggested over the phone first). This worked to clear the error in the short term; however, they did not investigate why we got the error in the first place. So, it happened again a few days later. This time we called Cregger Plumbing who charged about the same to do an hours worth of actual work repairing the unit and provided a 1 year warranty on their work. Granted Cregger did the work on a weekday, but it was a better experience in every possible way. I would not have taken the time to leave this review had your employee not been so cocky & unpleasant to deal with for my staff...which appears to be a theme in your negative reviews.

Mr. Krause, we are not open on the weekends but do offer emergency services when there are no other options. Of course, this service comes at an elevated rate as we have to pull someone away from their weekend interlude to answer your call for help. This would've been explained to you, in great specificity, before our technician agreed to respond to your call for service. In addition, because weekend rates are at an elevated rate, we want to get in and find the simplest resolution and get out as quickly as possible to keep the expense to you down. This is especially true if it is a problem that we can return and remedy during normal service hours. Furthermore, because you were already an emergency service client, there would've been discounted rates available to you upon our return. Lastly, and probably most importantly, have you attempted to contact the office to voice your concerns and afford us an opportunity to make things right? We have been in business a long time and take our customer relationships very seriously. Please feel free to call any time and we can discuss the matter further.
