So I got really lucky my dentist retired a few years ago and I have been to several different dental offices and this one is the best Dr. Schmitt is great and his assistant Amy was awesome they really care about you and how comfortable you are they have the best bedside manners which is really hard to find and not only that they took there time and explained everything I will never go anywhere else unless he retires this is definitely a place that deserves 10 stars and 10

I went to Redwood Dental in Farmington to have a general cleaning and x-rays. I was told I needed a deep cleaning but no one ever told me that this was not covered by my insurance. I told the hygienist I want a regular cleaning. I guess he proceeded anyways. In a 30 minute cleaning with no advanced technique or tools. I somehow amassed $590 worth of scaling/cleaning. Of course there was a overall treatment plan of additional $8000-$10,000 worth of work. I was told that the gingival irrigation was $40 but by the time I went to check out it was $50. Not sure how it increased. I will not return to Redwood Dental. I will continue my search for an honest and affordable dentist that communicates costs before services are rendered.
