        This agency charged my 87-year-old mother $21,287 dollars to insure her 2001 Ford Taurus over a period of seven years (2010 - 2017). When the car was involved in a traffic accident, the insurance company totaled it, paying out $2,200 dollars. The agency made no attempt to assist my mother to reduce her insurance premium or offer her any alternative pricing while she was driving her paid off 9 - 16-year-old car for the past seven years. Every year, the premium increased while the renewal notice specified her age and the age of the car which was not worth the cost of the insurance provided. In my opinion, this agencys activities are neglectful, bordering on criminal neglect and fraud. I will be filing a complaint with the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services.
