This was the 2nd time I used Randall & Sons Plumbing. There will NOT be a 3rd time! The first time he cleaned a drain, installed a sump pump, and fixed a leak. All done quickly and to my satisfaction. This time he installed a new kitchen faucet, fixed a leaky toilet, said he repaired a leak to the main water valve and said he fixed a leaky shower head. The water main continues to leak. After 2 months the shower head started leaking again, another two months and the handle won't turn on or off the water, just spins. I have to shut off the main water valve to stop the running water. Finally, after a month of leaving phone messages I got a return call. I was told he was out of town on a family emergency and would call when he got back in town. I had not heard anything for a week. I'm thinking an emergency is usually taken care of quicker than a weeks' time. Called and emailed. This time I was told that he was with a dying family member. I WILL NOT use this plumber again. Services: Faucet repair, Plumbing leak repair, Plumbing pipe repair

I have just realized that I never added a review on Google for this company, despite the fact that I've used Randall & Sons for any plumbing problems for years! I have never been overcharged, and we had quite a few strange plumbing issues with our last home. Not only did Spike keep our basement from flooding on a couple of occasions, but he fixed a HORRIBLE nightmare of a DIY job from the last owner. (And when I say "horrible", I mean that he found a Planter's peanut lid stuck to our waste pipe with a mix of cement and cardboard. You can guess what happened when the cardboard eventually soaked through. ) On top of that, Spike has given us good advice on cost-effective maintenance, and even made sure to let us know how to have the city help us pay for a new connecting line to our house. Fortunately our new home only has some minor plumbing annoyances, but I know that if something ever goes wrong, this is the plumber I'll call first!

Randall & Sons was wonderful to work with. They were prompt in responding to my call and very communicative leading up to my appointment. During their visit, they professionally and expertly addressed our plumbing issues as well as answer questions for other concerns around our home. I would highly recommend them and look forward to making them our first call with any plumbing needs in the future.

DO NOT USE!!! We had them out to fix a leaking pipe through our home warranty. The man that came complained about another company doing half-baked work and then leaving a mess behind. The ironic thing is, this guy did the same exact thing! When he came out to fix the issue he stated that he thinks the water coming from our bathroom down through the basement ceiling was a bad seal our our shower and that WE just need to get sealant and seal it to see if it works. Literally the only thing he did and left. The funny thing is, when we run the sink beside it, the pipe leaks; so it's obvious its a pipe (for a plumber he didn't even check the basics). After we sealed it and it was still leaking, surprise surprise, we called our home warranty and stated he did not fix it. They contacted him and he said he would leave the service request open and be back out. He then ghosted us and would not answer our call. Want to know the kicker? Since it has been past 30 days, our home warranty closed the service request (that still shows status "Appointment Set") and we would now have to shell out another premium to reopen the request. This guy literally got paid from our home warranty for doing no work, ignoring the customer, then cashing in. It's an absolutely mind-boggling and abysmal way to run a business of any sort. Turns out he's exactly like the competition he was complaining about. What a sad excuse! Service: Plumbing pipe repair
