Nothing really wrong with the care I received here. People were generally helpful, though I did end up waiting 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen, having already shown up 10 minutes early as requested. However, something that bothered me was that while in the waiting area, I could clearly overhear the receptionists complaining about phone calls to one another. Obviously working reception you get some bad calls and want to blow off steam, but it leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when they do this in full view of everyone in the waiting area. It makes me feel as through they dont have the patients best interest in mind. Otherwise, a fairly average medical experience.

Been going to this clinic for close to 40 years. That should say something. The Mid-Michigan area is lucky to have this. They really helped me after UofM messed up my surgery.

I've been going to MSU internal medicine for almost 5 years and I feel like they've always been good, but have gotten even better with time. It was an honor to help my first doctor there in his residency. I was his first patient. I'll have to say though, I'm a good first patient because I have an abundance of patience. Truly. That day, he was learning the computer system for the first time so it took longer than it normally would, but he proved to be awesome for 2 years. Brilliant young doctor. I now see a permanent nurse practitioner, and she has been absolutely amazing. All of the staff is always super helpful and highly intelligent. I feel like they listen well to my needs, and they are thorough. I feel like a participant in my own care, which is nice considering I do have a medical background. It has got me any referral I asked for, and ultimately led to saving my Nero function in my arms and hands. I was also cured of a long term debilitating illness, and my vitality was restored. All because these doctors care enough to listen. I would recommend MSU to anyone. I saw that the ratings weren't very high for this price, and that they weren't very many ratings in general, so I had to sway the scales a little. So often people are only willing to take time out to leave a bad review even if they like a place. MSU deserves better than a three-star rating because they focus on excellence, and quality care. Thank you MSU internal medicine. 5 stars
