I attempted to work with Ramona to get preapproved to purchase a rental property. I submitted my info online and was contacted by Amy. She was friendly and took my information and said she would reach back out. I heard from her once after that and never heard back from her again, and never actually communicated with Ramona. I called and left a message for Amy and got no call back. I called again and she answered and said Ramona should be reaching out to me that day or the next. No one ever called. I emailed Ramona and explained it had been a week since I submitted my info and spoke to Amy and was told I would hear back. I never got a email back or a call back. I decided to work with a different lender who was able to get me approved within three days. Im not sure why I never heard back from Amy and never once heard from Ramona. Amy told me they were busy the second time I spoke to her. I guess I was the lowest priority of who they were working with. I can only assume this was because I was not trying to get a very large loan and suspect it is all about the money and amount of the loan because that determines what loan officers make. I am very happy with the loan officer I used after her team blatantly stopped responding to me. If you want someone who will work with you no matter what the amount you are trying to get approved for, I can recommended someone great. I have had poor experiences with Union home mortgage as a whole. I dont like having to make low rating reviews but I believe it is absolutely necessary for other customers to see and know about poor experiences like this.
