Original surgery in 2007 went well. Involved in car aQccident in 2015 and had 3 herniated disc's and the nightmare began. No drains put in even though he went in both posterior and anterior and I went septic. I was given vancomycin and went into renal failure. 3 weeks of dialysis and lucky my kidneys did get better. However, ended up having 3 more surgeries before being hospitalized paralyzed on the right side of my body with a broken screw embedded in my spinal cord causing BRUISING AND PARALYSIS. He would not see me but instead he had his PA tell me they were not willing to treat me further and I was basically left paralyzed on the right side of.my body. They were even accessing my medical records saying they were involved in my treatment x m8 When Dr. HEILMAN who had done my 3 previous surgeries was contacted by Dparrow Radiology that I returned and wells experiencing paralysis EQDand upsize the hardware I regain movement although I lost some feeling in my right hand up to my elbow.. Dr. FRANK LaMarca who now aworks at Henry Ford in Jackson Thank you Dr. Frank LaMarca. You not only gave me back my quality of life, you got me out of a chair and back on my feet!. I do not recommend Dr. Haileman because of his abandonment of my care, his staffs dishonesty, and most of all the overall God

I was reminded about my appointment 3 times, which was great. I was also reminded of the cost of my appointment 3 times, which was unnecessary. It was the first thing I heard after "do you have an appointment" when I arrived for my appt. I understand that the policy is to pay before youre seen, but a "how are you today" wouldve gone a long way. I felt my appointment was rushed. Questions were asked rapid fire before I saw the doctor. When all was said and done, I did have an idea of what direction to go. I just didnt feel like I was treated as well as a patient should be treated. Thank you.

Dr. Heilman is a good man who cares about his patient's. I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 19, and he was the one to do my surgery (third ventriculostomy). I'm 28 now, and he's still kept in touch with me. Even came to see me when I was in the hospital for breakthrough seizures. I really believe he doesn't like to see any of his patient's suffer.

Jon Kim, compassion fatigued surgeon, performed unnecessary spine surgery, on 3rd yr law student, wrecked it for life. Kim died of terminal cancer shortly afterwards. Patient cancelled Kim's scheduled "SAINT PATTY'S DAY"'second surgery on cervical, triple disectomy, because Kim's personal assistant told patient Kim was not qualified to perform the 1st surgery. Kim gambled with a patients future, and blew it. So what, Kim's dead, but his legacy lives on with students enjoying his hollywood production of the surgery, consent signature of patient. No one told patient of Kim predicted date of expiration from cancer was looming prior to the first surgery. Lacking of Informed consent is not exception to safety. No surprise knowing after facts. Yes maybe. Bias protection, however, frolic and detour from employers intended purpose on their dime. Healthcare economics AMA & ABA and EDU protect each others interests. Lawyers with terminal cancer plead every case guilty and intimidate clients with threat of jail time if they resist pleading guilty to every charge. These are paid for attorneys ABA and AMA doctors. Where is legislation to prevent these terminal professionals from CFS schadenfreude like sabotage. Hints of retaliation for their unfortunate yet lucrative and influential time on earth. Oversight and relief with tranquility versus excitement or fiduciary gain. RIP. DO NO HARM. Support Compassion Fatigue Syndrome research and development. Prevent psycho-pension disability and early retirements of first responders. Make the world a better place to be.

My mother is/was a patient through this office. I spent 2 months with over 5 ER visits and 6 admissions to get a surgery performed for her back pain which ended up being a very serious condition/infection. She was denied during our first admission in may and it wasnt until late June on our 6th admission that another physician from outside the hospital demanded they perform the surgery as the treatment they set up wasnt working. She was recently seen for a follow up and when they had concerns that the infection was coming back they ordered a MRI but never suggested to seek treatment at a ER. We are now on our 8th ER visit as of this writing. I give credit for the Neurosurgeon who performed her spinal fusion 15 years ago, excellent work but your colleagues dont share the same concerns as you for your patients well being.
