I visited the showroom at Proven K&B today for the first time and was blown away by this showroom. Absolutely beautiful. Proven is a rare business that not only gave me my dream kitchen, but completed before expected date and within the estimated $ quote. Each day their contractor would message prior to arrival, complete quality work and leave my space clean. They were flexible and accommodating when I made a last minute light fixture request and added an unexpected door to the project. I cant wait to work with them on my bathroom remodel!

I ordered backsplash tile from Proven. Gave them accurate measurements but they ordered way too much and wouldnt take it back. They said they always order 20% more (paperwork say 10%) in case of breakage. So they ordered 7 boxes.
I had 2 1/2 boxes too much! Thats 55 extra 12 tiles. S&H was $225! (And I picked it up at the warehouse) Dont assume they know what to order! Figure it out yourself & challenge it if not correct.

Hi Elaine, we try to order an additional percentage with tile to allow for cuts and waste. Tile in general is non stock. If we need to order more even small amounts we risk an additional order coming from a different dye lot and not matching the supplied order. I would be happy to return this for a re-stocking fee as well as return the delivery fee to you. Based on the measurements you provided and the overage, we accounted for 29 square feet. We did not provide the dimensions. Depending on how many square feet are in a box (5.28 SQFT in your case), we end up with 6 boxes. When it comes to tile it is typically better to order more than less, which is why we added the additional box. Depending on your pattern, for example, a traditional subway joint may result in a surplus as you are able to use the wasted cuts into the splash. That is different with each installation team and the decision to lay the tile in half or thirds.We did not supply the labor for your installation. As we do not stock the custom tile we can not just simply return the amount. We would be happy to chat with you on this, please feel free to reach me personally at 248-795-4814. Let me start by mentioning that we have not completed work with Cassandra and her team as of yet. That being said, my wife and I cannot say enough good things about her and her team Just prior to the pandemic, early this year, we met with Cassandra to develop a plan to renovate our kitchen. Cassandra spent so much time with us understanding what we were looking for, and completing plans to fit our house and our tastes. She was extremely responsive, very friendly, and her plans were gorgeous! Unfortunately the pandemic, and some other "life"factors have caused us to put off the project at this point. And, we will certainly use Cassandra and her team in the future. It would be hard for me to imagine better service. Thanks Cassandra.
