        I actually worked in this building from 1975 -Feb 78, no graffiti then. Ive driven past quite a few times since then and I love the artwork.

        This place takes it to a new level. There are a lot of murals and art in Detroit. All of the art is good but what is the draw or differentiation with each piece of art. Rise up is its size . This project is huge and has to be in contention for the biggest mural. The size of the art is striking and that is the draw. This mural is making great use of a disused building and giving new life to a post industrial waste land. Great find and quick visit for Detroit.
