I recently enrolled my daughter in the duckling class. It is a 6 week program with babies ages 6M to 18M. The class we were enrolled in was Wednesday's at 9 AM. My daughter usually wakes up around 8 AM and we live in Troy, so I knew it would be a challenge getting there by 9 AM (rush hour traffic, what a dumb time to start a baby group) but we were going to try it out anyways. The cost of the class is $200 dollars and honestly I am not sure what that money is used for. We attended one class (after a long drive in, 70 minutes because again rush hour traffic) and the class consisted of circle/free time while singing songs, a snack and then back to circle time to close out the class. The teacher is pleasant, the school is nice, but the class isn't worth the $200 dollar fee and wait in rush hour traffic to get there. Unfortunately we did not go back after the one class we attended. There are other groups at the public libraries in the surrounding cities that offer mommy and baby group classes.
