Quality and promptness of service has definitely plummeted since the owner, Kathe Godsalve passed away. Im used to quick turn around times and responsive emails/calls. Now you call and wont get a call back for 2-3 days, if you get a call back at all. I hope they can survive under the new management.

I have 2 great printers that I have worked with over the last few years with great success. Detroit Printer and one other. I was introduced to Detroit Printer by a fellow parent in my child's school group. In 2018 I went to them to do a rush job, a class memory book for 8th grade graduates. They did a great job. It was a rushed piece on our side but the finished product never gave any indication that it was rushed. When we needed print work again for the same project 2 years later, I called Detroit Printer again. Kathi and her staff were great. Again. They promised to have it done on a certain date. They had it done 2 days earlier than promised. There was a mistake with one of the photos not printing right, she called, fixed it, no delays, no extra charge, great. The finished product was even better than imagined. She even made recommendations on how to make it better...paper selection, fastening options, etc. I could not be more pleased or give a more glowing reccomendation. Their building is very modest and unassuming looking on the east side of Detroit, but the quality of work and the owner are top shelf.
